What Blockaid is
Blockaid provides onchain security monitoring for wallets, exchanges, protocols, and financial institutions. The platform scans transactions, contracts, vaults, and wallet activity in real time, using machine-learning models trained on onchain and internet-wide data to detect exploits, scams, and risk before transactions are confirmed. Verdicts are returned within the signing flow, and detections from one integrated partner are shared across the network.
Blockaid is used by wallets, exchanges, custodians, and protocols to enforce risk policies, screen inflows and outflows, and support compliance and engineering teams with programmatic risk-exposure controls. It integrates directly with wallets and applications rather than custodying user funds itself, offering detection, alerting, and policy enforcement across multiple blockchain ecosystems.
Good for, and what to watch
Good for
- Warns before you sign a malicious transaction
- Already built into wallets many people use
- Nothing to install or pay for yourself
Watch out for
- A clean scan is not a guarantee — new drainers get through
- You meet it inside wallets such as MetaMask, not as an app of its own
- Transactions you sign are sent to its service to be checked
