Something wrong? We would rather fix it than defend it

What we publish, and where it comes from

Two kinds of thing appear on this site. Measurements (prices, what a sale would return, what changed this week) come from our own readings of markets and chains, each with the day it was taken. Written rows (what a coin can do, through whom, and on the PowerMap which party holds which power) each repeat what a project's or company's own terms, documents or site say, with a link to that source and the day we read it. We do not write a row we cannot source, and we never say whether a power will be used.

How to ask

Email [email protected] with the subject Correction. Tell us the page, the line, and what you believe is wrong. A link to the source that says otherwise helps most. You do not need to be the company concerned, and you do not need an account.

What happens next

  1. We reply within two business days to say we have it.
  2. We reread the source the line cites, and the one you sent.
  3. If the line is wrong or out of date, we correct it and move its "checked" date. A written row that no longer has a source is taken down rather than left standing.
  4. If the line stands, we reply with the passage of the source it rests on.

A measurement is corrected the same way when our reading was wrong, for example a quote that failed on our side. A market that genuinely moved is not an error, and its history stays as it was measured.

What we will not do

We do not remove an accurate, sourced line because someone would prefer it were not there, and a payment or a commercial relationship never changes a row, a measurement or a tool result. Sponsorship buys placement on the site, never a rating.
