What Phantom is

Phantom is a software wallet for buying, selling, and managing crypto, described by the company as a home for trading crypto, predictions, and other assets. It allows users to trade tokens, access prediction markets, use perpetual trading products, and view tools through a desktop terminal. The wallet also supports sending money and spending through linked payment methods such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a Visa card.

The company states that Phantom is self-custodial, meaning users control their own funds and Phantom does not have access to them.
