Tangem

You hold the keys Founded 2017

Tangem makes a card-based hardware wallet that stores private keys offline and uses a phone's NFC module to sign transactions, requiring no batteries or cables. The wallet ships as a set of cards that each hold the same cold wallet; tapping one card to a phone activates it, and additional cards can be linked for backup instead of relying on a traditional seed phrase, though generating one remains optional. The card's secure element generates the private key using entropy from physical sensors and is certified EAL6+, with firmware reviewed by external security labs.

The accompanying Tangem app lets customers store, buy, send, swap, and spend assets across more than 14,100 tokens on over 90 blockchain networks, plus a Yield Mode for earning interest and support for spending crypto via Apple Pay or Google Pay. The company states the wallet is fully non-custodial, meaning private keys are locked inside the card's chip and no company, bank, or government can access, freeze, or restrict the assets held.
