Aztec: the twelve-month investor cliff
How big is this against the actual market?
Many times a day’s trading volume. A market this size has no routine way to absorb it.
Before any of this arrives, selling $100,000 of Aztec already costs 1.33% — Workable, measured on Ethereum on 2026-09-23. See the full exit measurement →
What we will not tell you: what the price does. An unlock is a quantity of tokens arriving against a market of a measurable size, and that is the whole of what this page computes. Everyone who tells you an unlock is bearish is giving you a forecast dressed as a fact — often about a token whose entire float already changes hands in an afternoon.
Two schedule trackers state that 1,916,695,455 AZTEC — 18.5% of the 10.35 billion genesis supply — is released on this date as the twelve-month cliff on Investors and Early Backers, followed by roughly 208.3 million a month from March 2027.
We are not publishing that as a fact. Both sources are aggregators, and Aztec itself publishes no vesting calendar anywhere: two sites agreeing is worth nothing when one may have copied the other. The token generation event date is also given as either 11 or 12 February 2026 depending on where you look, and this anniversary inherits whichever is right.
What would settle it is the deployed vesting contract on a block explorer, read for its cliff and end parameters. Until somebody does that, this entry records what is claimed and who claims it.
Where this came from
Checked against those sources by a person on 24 September 2026. A curated calendar’s only claim to trust is that somebody looked.
