What ADI is
ADI Chain is an Ethereum Layer 2 network developed by the ADI Foundation, intended to support government, enterprise, and institutional digital infrastructure. It is built on zkSync's zkStack framework.
The chain uses a prover called Airbender, described as GPU-accelerated, to generate zero-knowledge proofs, with the aim of producing fast, low-cost, and secure transactions. It also includes modular Layer 3 capabilities, meant to let nations and enterprises deploy region-specific systems for uses such as payments, e-invoicing, land registries, and stablecoins. The stated goal is to connect traditional institutional systems with blockchain infrastructure, with an ambition to onboard one billion people by 2030.
ADI Chain is classified as infrastructure and a smart contract platform operating as a Layer 2, deployed on Ethereum as a single chain. This is a description of intended architecture and stated ambition, not a record of deployment scale, government adoption, or usage. The source names no founding date, no launch event, and no operating entity beyond the ADI Foundation itself, so none of that can be verified here. Claims about compliant land registries, e-invoicing systems, or stablecoin infrastructure for nations describe a roadmap, not confirmed installations; no jurisdiction, agency, or enterprise partner is specified. The billion-user target by 2030 is a stated aim, not a measured trajectory. As with any Layer 2, its security and finality depend on the underlying Ethereum settlement layer and on the correctness of the proving system described, both of which sit outside what a token page can confirm.
Where ADI lives
On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.
Always verify a contract address against the project's own site before sending anything. Addresses are shown as published by CoinGecko, not as an endorsement — and identical-looking tokens on other chains are the most common way people lose money here.
