What APEX is

APEX (AP3X) is the native token of Apex Fusion, a system of interconnected blockchain networks described as bridging UTXO-based and EVM-based architectures. The source material does not name a founding entity or a launch date, so none is given here.

The architecture places the Ouroboros consensus protocol as a base layer, which anchors separate Layer 2 side chains — one built for EVM-style smart contracts, another for UTXO-style transaction models. Bridges connect these chains so that each can handle the workload it is suited for rather than forcing one chain to do everything. The APEX token itself is issued only on what the system calls the Prime chain, and is designed to move across the other chains in the network rather than being issued natively on each.

The source describes a multi-chain system spanning UTXO and EVM environments, but the measured deployment data shows APEX currently live on a single chain, Base — so the broader multi-chain bridging described above is not yet reflected in where the token actually trades or settles. CoinGecko's classification lists it as a Smart Contract Platform and Layer 1, categories that sit oddly with a token presently confined to one base-layer ecosystem; treat the category label as a taxonomy choice, not a technical confirmation that the full Ouroboros-anchored, multi-chain architecture is operating as described. No supply figures, token distribution, or revenue mechanism appear in the source, and none should be assumed. Nothing here indicates governance rights, staking yield, or fee capture — the source only describes transferability across chains, not what holding the token entitles a user to.

GoPlus reading, 19 October Blocking addresses: none · Pausing transfers: none · GoPlus

On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.

Always verify a contract address against the project's own site before sending anything. Addresses are shown as published by CoinGecko, not as an endorsement — and identical-looking tokens on other chains are the most common way people lose money here.

The exit-friction index

Once a month we publish what a $100,000 exit really costs across every token we can measure. Leave an address and this month’s figure arrives straight away, and we will write again when the next index publishes. Nothing else, and never to anyone else.
