What it actually costs to sell B3
Selling $100,000 of B3 into each exchange’s resting bids, measured against the mid price:
| Exchange | Lost | Got back | Measured |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coinbase B3/USD | 11.3% | $88,655 | 2026-10-21 |
| Kraken B3/USD | the book could not absorb it | 2026-10-21 | |
Exchange figures need an account there (and KYC, a permitted country, the tokens already deposited), are before trading fees, and are never averaged with the on-chain figure. Binance is not included: it refuses requests from the region our servers are in. How this is measured →
Watch this number instead of remembering it. A free account keeps B3 on a list, records where it stood the day you added it, and emails you if selling it on these exchanges gets materially harder — one message, not a series. The measurement itself stays public; the account is for being told when it moves without you looking.
What B3 (Base) is
B3 (Base) is infrastructure built by the ex-Base team for what it calls sovereign compute: software for creating AI agents and automated workflows that can execute transactions onchain. The source does not specify a founding date or a launch event.
Its primary product is B3OS, a workflow automation platform. It lets AI agents, developers, and non-technical users assemble workflows using embedded wallets, configurable guardrails, and execution logs intended to be verifiable. These workflows can be set to act on triggers — token price movements, smart contract events, fixed schedules, or webhooks — to carry out tasks like trading, treasury management, payments, and data monitoring.
B3 is deployed on a single chain, Base, so anything built on it inherits that chain's dependencies rather than operating independently across multiple networks. CoinGecko files it under several categories at once — Smart Contract Platform, Base Ecosystem, Gaming Blockchains, Base Native — a spread that reflects classification breadth more than a settled description of what the asset does. The source describes B3 as infrastructure for building automated agents and workflows; it does not describe a revenue mechanism, a token utility, or a governance role, and none should be assumed. "Guardrails" and "verifiable execution logs" are the platform's own terms for its safety design — the source gives no measurement of how those guardrails perform under adversarial conditions, nor any audit record. What the agents are permitted to do, and how reliably the guardrails constrain them in practice, is not something this passage establishes.
Where B3 lives
On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.
Always verify a contract address against the project's own site before sending anything. Addresses are shown as published by CoinGecko, not as an endorsement — and identical-looking tokens on other chains are the most common way people lose money here.
