What BurnedFi is

BurnedFi is a token system on BNB Chain built around two assets: $burn and $build. The source material does not name a founding team, company, or launch date.

The mechanism works by converting $burn tokens into $build tokens through a burn process: burning $burn worth a given amount of $BNB mints an equivalent amount of $build as "proof," while an additional $build is minted and distributed to all existing $build holders in proportion to their holdings. Holders can later claim a $BNB reward equal to their current $build balance minus their original proof amount; claiming resets the proof count to zero. Referral links pay burners a 10% $burn reward to the referrer and 5% to whoever referred that referrer, with at least 85% of burned $burn sent to a dead address. The system depends on continuous new burning activity to generate the reflections and rewards described.

This is not a yield product backed by external revenue — rewards paid in $BNB come from value burners themselves contribute, redistributed through the proof-and-reflection mechanism, not from any underlying business. It is not a multi-chain asset: it exists only on BNB Chain. CoinGecko classifies it under BNB Chain Ecosystem and Meme, categories that typically carry no technology, product, or revenue claims beyond the token mechanics themselves. The source describes a closed internal accounting system — proofs, reflections, claims — and nothing about audits, treasury custody, or what happens if new burning activity slows. Whether early participants are structurally advantaged over later ones, and what "leave them for community development" means in practice, are not explained in the source and are not addressed here.

GoPlus reading, 19 October Blocking addresses: none · Pausing transfers: set, held by 0x4e26…f15f · GoPlus

On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.

Always verify a contract address against the project's own site before sending anything. Addresses are shown as published by CoinGecko, not as an endorsement — and identical-looking tokens on other chains are the most common way people lose money here.

The exit-friction index

Once a month we publish what a $100,000 exit really costs across every token we can measure. Leave an address and this month’s figure arrives straight away, and we will write again when the next index publishes. Nothing else, and never to anyone else.
