What it actually costs to sell ENSO
Selling $100,000 of ENSO into each exchange’s resting bids, measured against the mid price:
| Exchange | Lost | Got back | Measured |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kraken ENSO/USD | the book could not absorb it | 2026-10-20 | |
Exchange figures need an account there (and KYC, a permitted country, the tokens already deposited), are before trading fees, and are never averaged with the on-chain figure. Binance is not included: it refuses requests from the region our servers are in. How this is measured →
Watch this number instead of remembering it. A free account keeps ENSO on a list, records where it stood the day you added it, and emails you if selling it on these exchanges gets materially harder — one message, not a series. The measurement itself stays public; the account is for being told when it moves without you looking.
What Enso is
Enso is described as infrastructure for blockchain development: a single point of access through which developers can read, write, and interact with smart contracts across multiple chains using one integration, rather than building separate connections to each network.
The mechanism is this unified integration layer. Instead of writing chain-specific code for each blockchain a developer wants to support, Enso provides one interface that handles the read, write, and contract-interaction calls across chains. The stated purpose is to let application builders reach users on different chains without replicating that integration work for each one; the source describes this as supporting consumer-facing applications used by a large number of people, without specifying how that usage is measured.
What this is not: a blockchain itself. CoinGecko classifies it under Infrastructure and related ecosystem and investor-portfolio tags (BNB Chain Ecosystem, Ethereum Ecosystem, Multicoin Capital Portfolio, Polychain Capital Portfolio, Intent, Binance Alpha Spotlight, CoinList Launchpad), which places it as a tooling layer rather than a settlement network in its own right. Despite describing access to "any chain," it is currently deployed on two networks — Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum — so the "every blockchain" framing in its own description exceeds its present deployment footprint. No claim here should be read as a measure of adoption, reliability, or developer count beyond what is stated.
Where ENSO lives
On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.
Always verify a contract address against the project's own site before sending anything. Addresses are shown as published by CoinGecko, not as an endorsement — and identical-looking tokens on other chains are the most common way people lose money here.
