What Fren Pet is
Fren Pet (FP) is a blockchain mobile game built as a progressive web app (PWA) and powered by its own token. The game is deployed on Base.
Players engage in game activities that burn tokens, and in return are rewarded in ETH based on their in-game score. These ETH rewards are funded by a 5% tax applied to token trades.
Fren Pet is not a yield product or an investment contract: the ETH rewards described in its own mechanism depend on continued token trading volume generating the 5% tax, not on any external revenue source. It is not multi-chain — it operates on Base only. CoinGecko categorizes it under Gaming (GameFi), Breeding, and Arcade Games, which places it in the broader speculative GameFi segment rather than established gaming infrastructure. The source does not name a development team, studio, or launch date, and none is asserted here. Nothing in the source describes governance rights, revenue sharing beyond the stated tax mechanism, or a fixed token supply, so no claims are made about scarcity or long-term token economics beyond what is stated: burning through play, and a trade tax funding rewards.
Where FP lives
On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.
