What Keeta is

Keeta is a layer-1 blockchain founded in 2022, backed by Eric Schmidt, the former CEO of Google. It is designed to unify transactions across different blockchains and fiat payment systems, aiming to remove intermediaries and reduce settlement costs between crypto and traditional finance.

The network is built around rapid settlement: the source cites 400-millisecond transaction finality and a capacity of 10 million transactions per second. Compliance is handled on-chain, with built-in KYC and AML protocols intended to meet the operational requirements of financial institutions. The architecture is designed to natively support asset tokenization and digital identity, positioning it for stablecoin issuance and real-world asset transfers, and for interoperability with existing payment rails.

What's measurable complicates the "layer-1" framing: Keeta is tracked as deployed on a single chain, Base, rather than operating independently across the multiple blockchains it says it unifies. It is classified across a wide spread of categories — smart contract platform, layer-1, real-world assets, payment solutions, stablecoin issuer — which reflects a broad ambition rather than a settled niche. The throughput and finality figures come from the project's own description; nothing in the available material independently verifies 10 million transactions per second or 400-millisecond finality under real network conditions. No information here describes a live institutional deployment, a revenue mechanism, or a completed audit of the compliance layer. Treat the claims of speed, scale, and regulatory readiness as stated intentions until measured separately.

Where KTA lives

GoPlus reading, 18 October Blocking addresses: none · Pausing transfers: none · GoPlus

On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.

Always verify a contract address against the project's own site before sending anything. Addresses are shown as published by CoinGecko, not as an endorsement — and identical-looking tokens on other chains are the most common way people lose money here.

The exit-friction index

Once a month we publish what a $100,000 exit really costs across every token we can measure. Leave an address and this month’s figure arrives straight away, and we will write again when the next index publishes. Nothing else, and never to anyone else.
