What Shuffle is

Shuffle (SHFL) is the native token of Shuffle.com, described in its own materials as a crypto casino platform offering original games, slots, and sports betting. It is deployed on Ethereum.

The token functions as a wagering asset, usable directly for betting on the platform's games. Shuffle allocates 15% of platform revenue to buy back SHFL from the open market and burn it, a mechanism intended to reduce circulating supply. Holding SHFL also confers VIP-style perks — early access to new features, enhanced platform experiences, and bonuses — and the project has run airdrop campaigns aimed at early adopters and active users.

SHFL is classified by CoinGecko under Gambling (GambleFi) and the Ethereum Ecosystem; it runs on a single chain. The buyback-and-burn mechanism ties the token's supply reduction to platform revenue, which means its effect depends entirely on Shuffle.com's ongoing betting volume and revenue generation — figures set by the platform's operators, not verifiable on-chain guarantees. The VIP perks and airdrop incentives are access privileges and promotional rewards, not a claim on earnings or a governance right, and nothing in the source describes SHFL as conferring ownership, dividends, or voting power over the platform. As a token whose core utility is wagering on a specific gambling platform, its usefulness is bound to that platform's continued operation and jurisdictional standing, both of which lie outside what this token itself can guarantee.

GoPlus reading, 9 October Blocking addresses: none · Pausing transfers: none · GoPlus

On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.

Always verify a contract address against the project's own site before sending anything. Addresses are shown as published by CoinGecko, not as an endorsement — and identical-looking tokens on other chains are the most common way people lose money here.

The exit-friction index

Once a month we publish what a $100,000 exit really costs across every token we can measure. Leave an address and this month’s figure arrives straight away, and we will write again when the next index publishes. Nothing else, and never to anyone else.
