What WYDE: End Hunger is

WYDE: End Hunger ($EAT) is a token deployed on the Base network, built to direct a share of its trading activity toward hunger relief organizations. It operates through the WYDE Impact Exchange, a platform designed to route a portion of trading fees to verified 501(c)(3) nonprofits. The source material does not identify a founding team, company, or launch date.

Each trade of $EAT sends 25% of the dynamic trading fee to hunger relief causes through the exchange's fee-routing mechanism. Total supply is fixed at 100 billion tokens. Of this, 80% is locked under vesting schedules that release not on a calendar but against meals-funded milestones, while the remaining 20% is set aside for initial liquidity and operational support. The project frames its purpose around two overlapping populations in the United States — digital-asset holders and people facing food insecurity — and positions itself alongside existing hunger-relief infrastructure such as food bank and pantry networks.

What this amounts to, in practical terms, is a fee-sharing mechanism layered onto a token, not a hunger-relief program in its own right: the charitable effect depends entirely on trading volume continuing and on the exchange's fee-routing actually reaching the stated nonprofits, neither of which the source substantiates with independent verification. The milestone-based vesting structure for 80% of supply means unlock timing is not fixed and depends on metrics the source does not define precisely. CoinGecko classifies it under Charity, SocialFi, and several Base-ecosystem categories; it is, at the infrastructure level, a single-chain crypto token on Base, nothing more or less than that classification implies. No audit, custodian, or nonprofit-verification process is described in the source.

GoPlus reading, 20 October Blocking addresses: none · Pausing transfers: none · GoPlus

On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.

Always verify a contract address against the project's own site before sending anything. Addresses are shown as published by CoinGecko, not as an endorsement — and identical-looking tokens on other chains are the most common way people lose money here.

The exit-friction index

Once a month we publish what a $100,000 exit really costs across every token we can measure. Leave an address and this month’s figure arrives straight away, and we will write again when the next index publishes. Nothing else, and never to anyone else.
