Decides redemption 1
Decide who may exchange it for what backs it, and on what terms.
- USD1 USD1
Be redeemed for what backs it: Partly. BitGo redeems USD1 for dollars one for one for its own eligible customers, after its checks and approval. Other holders sell it on the exchanges and platforms that support it.

Holds what backs it 1
Hold what backs it.
- USD1 USD1
Hold a steady dollar value: Partly. USD1 is designed to be worth one dollar. Its docs say it is backed by cash, US government money market funds and other cash equivalents, all held by BitGo, which issues it. World Liberty Financial does not issue or hold it. It holds for as long as those reserves do.

What this page is not. It lists what our written rows say. It is not a complete account of what BitGo can do, it says nothing about whether a power has been or will be used, and it is not a view of BitGo or of any coin.
Something here wrong, or out of date? How to ask for a correction. We reread the source and fix the row, or show why it stands.
