Dates that move markets

Crypto, like stocks, often moves on the days the US publishes its interest-rate decisions and its inflation and jobs figures, because each one changes what people expect from interest rates. Here is every coming one, in Central Time. The dates only: we don’t predict what they will say or what the market will do.

Every coming date

Soonest first. Times are Central; the sources give them in Eastern, one hour ahead.

What each one is

Fed interest-rate decision
The Federal Open Market Committee sets the target for US interest rates. Its decision is published at the end of a two-day meeting, and the Chair takes questions half an hour later. Published by the Federal Reserve.
US inflation report (CPI)
The Consumer Price Index: how fast prices rose over the month named. The most widely watched US inflation figure. Published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
US jobs report
The Employment Situation: jobs added and the unemployment rate for the month named. Published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Copied from the official schedules on 7 November 2026. A release can be moved (a government shutdown has delayed them before), and the Fed calls every 2027 meeting tentative until the meeting before it confirms it: the source links always have the latest. Nothing here is advice.
