What 1inch is

1inch is a decentralized exchange aggregator that combines liquidity from multiple exchanges to find swap rates across more than 18 blockchain networks without requiring bridging. It began as a DEX aggregator and has expanded to offer intent-based swaps and cross-chain functionality built on atomic execution, alongside a DeFi wallet app for securing, swapping and tracking tokens.

The platform includes features such as MEV protection, wallet screening, wallet scanning, risk scoring and blocklists aimed at reducing exposure to front-running and sandwich attacks. 1inch also offers a Web3 API suite for developers, portfolio tracking tools, and options to spend or borrow against crypto holdings. Products are available in the USA, Europe, Asia and most other regions, except where restricted by sanctions or other limitations.
