Exchange figures need an account there (and KYC, a permitted country, the tokens already deposited), are before trading fees, and are never averaged with the on-chain figure. Binance is not included: it refuses requests from the region our servers are in. How this is measured →
Watch this number instead of remembering it. A free account keeps 1INCH on a list, records where it stood the day you added it, and emails you if selling it on these exchanges gets materially harder — one message, not a series. The measurement itself stays public; the account is for being told when it moves without you looking.
What 1INCH is
1inch is a decentralized finance ecosystem offering tools for trading and managing crypto assets. Its stated aim is to give users access to decentralized finance without workarounds or security risks, and to advocate for a compliant approach to the sector.
The ecosystem centers on aggregated trading: the 1inch dApp and the self-custodial 1inch Wallet route trades to find rates across on-chain liquidity, built on open-source protocols. Additional products include 1inch Portfolio for tracking holdings and 1inch Card, built with CryptoLife, for spending or borrowing against digital assets. The underlying technology is also made available to builders and enterprise partners, with connections to a large number of tokens, tokenized real-world assets, integration across more than a dozen networks, and native swap functionality between Solana and EVM-compatible chains.
1INCH is classified as a decentralized exchange and DeFi token, associated with automated market maker infrastructure and ecosystems on BNB Chain, Avalanche, Arbitrum and Ethereum, among the networks it is deployed on (which also include Base, Linea, Optimism, zkSync, Unichain and Robinhood). None of this describes what the token itself entitles a holder to — the source material covers the platform's products and reach, not the token's rights, revenue claim, or governance role. No information here establishes fee-sharing, staking yield, or voting weight for 1INCH; anyone evaluating the token specifically, rather than the platform, should look for that separately. The multi-chain deployment list reflects presence, not usage or activity on each network.

Staking 1INCH gives Unicorn Power, which can be delegated to a 1inch Fusion resolver, a third party. The resolver, not 1inch, pays the incentive. Staked tokens are locked for a chosen period, and leaving early costs a penalty of up to 90%.

Where 1INCH lives
On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.
Always verify a contract address against the project's own site before sending anything. Addresses are shown as published by CoinGecko, not as an endorsement — and identical-looking tokens on other chains are the most common way people lose money here.
