What AllUnity CHF is
AllUnity CHF (CHFAU) is a Swiss franc-denominated stablecoin issued under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR). It launched on 26 February 2026, intended to provide Swiss franc liquidity for institutional and retail use on public blockchain networks.
The issuer, AllUnity GmbH, is a Frankfurt-based company licensed as an electronic money institution by Germany's BaFin, operating as a joint venture between DWS, Flow Traders, and Galaxy Digital. CHFAU is backed 1:1 by Swiss franc reserves held at authorized credit institutions within the European Economic Area, which the issuer states are not used for lending or investment. Minting and redemption run through whitelisted wallets and accounts via authorized partners, with permissioned wallets controlling issuance to prevent unauthorized supply changes; the smart contracts are upgradable under multisig control subject to internal governance. The token is deployed on Base, Ethereum, Polygon, Tempo and Solana, with further chains planned, and is pitched toward trading, payments, treasury management, and on-chain finance.
CHFAU is a fiat-backed stablecoin, not an investment asset: its design goal is price stability against the Swiss franc, not appreciation. Its stability depends entirely on the issuer's reserve management and on AllUnity GmbH's continued regulatory standing — it is not decentralized, and minting, burning, and contract upgrades run through permissioned, multisig-controlled parties rather than open protocol rules. Access to minting and redemption is gated through named distribution partners and whitelisting, so it is not freely accessible to anonymous or unapproved wallets. Multi-chain deployment means its behavior and risk profile can differ by network. Nothing here addresses trading volume, liquidity depth, or market size; those figures, where available, are reported separately and change independently of this description.
Where CHFAU lives
On Solana, a mint authority can create more of the token and a freeze authority can freeze it in a holder's account; both are read from the token itself, every day. On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.
Always verify a contract address against the project's own site before sending anything. Addresses are shown as published by CoinGecko, not as an endorsement — and identical-looking tokens on other chains are the most common way people lose money here.
