What Auki is
Auki describes itself as an effort to make the physical world accessible to AI, building what it calls the "real world web" — a way for robots and devices such as smart glasses and phones to browse, navigate, and search physical locations. Its core component is the posemesh protocol, a decentralized machine perception network intended to give robots and XR devices a shared understanding of physical space, paired with a token economy for exchanging spatial data and compute resources.
The stated mechanism is a network in which participating devices contribute and consume spatial data through the posemesh protocol, with the token used to settle exchanges of that data and of compute resources across the network. According to the source, the network is rolling out into commercial and private locations worldwide and has integrations with robotics makers including Unitree, EngineAI, Padbot, and Slamtec. The source also points to a public burn tracker on Dune as a way to observe adoption activity.
Auki is a token, not a robot or a piece of hardware — it is the settlement and coordination layer that the source describes sitting underneath other companies' physical devices. Whether the posemesh protocol functions as a genuinely decentralized, collaborative perception network at scale, and how much of the claimed "millions of dollars in yearly revenue" flows through the token itself rather than around it, are not established by the source material. It is deployed on Base and Peaq, and is classified by data aggregators under AI, augmented reality, metaverse, and DePIN categories — labels that describe a sector positioning, not a guarantee of technical performance or usage. No figures on transaction volume, active devices, or actual data throughput accompany the claims of "rapid" rollout and "fast-growing" ecosystem.
Where AUKI lives
On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.
Always verify a contract address against the project's own site before sending anything. Addresses are shown as published by CoinGecko, not as an endorsement — and identical-looking tokens on other chains are the most common way people lose money here.
