What CARV is
CARV describes itself as the infrastructure for what it calls "Sovereign AI Beings" — on-chain intelligences with memory, identity, and the capacity to act autonomously rather than simply execute tasks. The project is built around a proprietary CARV SVM Chain, a D.A.T.A. Framework, and a CARV ID/Agent ID system using the ERC-7231 standard. Consumer applications have been incubated through CARV Labs and distributed via Google Play and the App Store. No founding date or founding entity is given in the source material.
Mechanically, the CARV ID/Agent ID layer (ERC-7231) is meant to give AI agents a verifiable, consent-based identity that persists and accumulates data across applications. The D.A.T.A. Framework and CARV SVM Chain provide the underlying infrastructure for this identity and data layer. The CARV token sits on top of this stack, used for staking, governance, and coordination — the mechanisms by which token holders are meant to influence or participate in the network's operation, rather than a claim on revenue generated by the apps built on it.
CARV is not a single-chain asset: it is deployed across Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum and Solana, which means liquidity, bridging risk, and contract exposure vary by chain and are not unified. It is classified under multiple, fairly distinct categories — AI, Infrastructure, Gaming, NFT — reflecting a broad and still-forming product scope rather than a narrow, proven niche. The token's stated utility is staking, governance, and coordination; nothing in the source describes a mechanism by which it captures value from the consumer apps or agent activity it enables. Whether "sovereign AI Beings" constitutes a functioning technical reality or a framing for conventional on-chain identity and data infrastructure is not something the source or the measured facts can settle.
Where CARV lives
On Solana, a mint authority can create more of the token and a freeze authority can freeze it in a holder's account; both are read from the token itself, every day. On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.
Always verify a contract address against the project's own site before sending anything. Addresses are shown as published by CoinGecko, not as an endorsement — and identical-looking tokens on other chains are the most common way people lose money here.
