What Ferrum Network is

Ferrum Network describes itself as a project built around interoperability between blockchains, centered on infrastructure it calls the Quantum Portal. Its stated aim is to let mainnet nodes and related infrastructure carry value, data, and functionality across chains, so that a solution built on one network can operate across several without a project having to build and maintain multi-chain infrastructure itself.

The source describes Ferrum as a multi-chain Blockchain as a Service company operating in DeFi, offering what it calls deflationary mechanisms, token utility design, and advisory services to other projects. Its stated mission is reducing friction between startups and established networks to support broader crypto adoption. Beyond these descriptions, the source does not specify the technical mechanics of the Quantum Portal itself, nor who built the network or when it launched.

The FRM token is deployed across Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Energi, Ethereum, and Polygon, and CoinGecko classifies it under Infrastructure, DeFi, and the ecosystems of those same chains. That breadth of deployment does not by itself confirm that the interoperability functions described — moving value and data across chains — work as claimed, or at what cost or speed; the source makes no technical claims that can be independently verified here. Nothing in the source or the measured facts indicates transaction volume, usage of the Quantum Portal, or client adoption of the advisory and BaaS services it says it provides. The phrase "deflationary mechanisms" is asserted, not quantified: no burn rate, supply cap, or schedule is given, so no conclusion about long-term token supply can be drawn. This is a description of stated purpose and deployment footprint, not a measurement of performance.

On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.

Always verify a contract address against the project's own site before sending anything. Addresses are shown as published by CoinGecko, not as an endorsement — and identical-looking tokens on other chains are the most common way people lose money here.

The exit-friction index

Once a month we publish what a $100,000 exit really costs across every token we can measure. Leave an address and this month’s figure arrives straight away, and we will write again when the next index publishes. Nothing else, and never to anyone else.
