What Rekt is
Rekt is the token underpinning Rekt Brands Inc., a company operating across several web3-adjacent verticals: a sparkling water line called Rekt Drinks, the Rektguy NFT collection (a free mint launched in 2022), an art practice under the name Rekt Art, a series of live events held in cities including New York, London, Paris, Miami, and Singapore, and a podcast called Rekt Radio produced with Rug Radio.
$REKT is described as the token that ties these verticals together. It is positioned as a membership and access mechanism — holding it is meant to unlock parts of the ecosystem, such as the NFT community, events, or brand content, and to expand who can participate in that membership. The project describes this as staying "true to the project's memetic routes," framing the token itself as meme-adjacent rather than a claim on any specific revenue stream from the drinks, art, or events businesses.
Rekt is classified by CoinGecko under multiple ecosystem and meme-token categories rather than a single sector, and it is deployed across seven chains — Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Base, BNB Chain, Abstract, and HyperEVM. The source material describes a brand and a set of consumer-facing ventures, but it does not specify what rights, revenue share, or enforceable claims the token confers on any of those businesses beyond "access." There is no tokenomics detail here — no supply, no allocation, no mechanism tying token value to sales of drinks, NFTs, or event tickets. Multi-chain deployment means liquidity and supply may exist in parallel across several networks, which is a structural fact, not a quality judgment. Anyone evaluating this asset should treat "membership token for a brand ecosystem" as a description of intent, not of contractual guarantee.
Where REKT lives
On Solana, a mint authority can create more of the token and a freeze authority can freeze it in a holder's account; both are read from the token itself, every day. On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, GoPlus's analysis of each contract is read weekly: whether it has a function to block addresses or pause transfers, and whether an owner holds it. That is GoPlus's reading, not ours. Where a token exists on several chains, one copy's settings say nothing about the original coin.
