You were handed a statement. Here is how to check it.
A client, a borrower or a counterparty has given you a document from Cryptominium with figures for a crypto asset. This page says what those figures are, what they are not, and how to confirm in a minute that the copy in front of you is the one we issued.
Checking is free and needs no account.

Confirm it is genuine
The five answers the verify page can give, and what each means for the copy you have.
- Issued by Cryptominium, and unchanged
- We issued it and the record we keep matches its fingerprint. Compare that fingerprint with your copy.
- Issued, then deleted by its owner
- It was genuine. Its owner has since erased it, so only the fingerprint remains to compare.
- Issued, and no longer kept
- It was genuine and has passed the end of the time it was kept for. The fingerprint remains.
- Issued, then replaced by a corrected statement
- Ask for the one that replaced it; the page names it.
- Not one of ours
- We have no such reference or fingerprint. The document was not issued by us, or has been altered.
Try it with a sample’s reference: RVS-XSR2-LDV6 or RVP-FV4D-DKYL.
At the foot of every statement is a reference beginning RVS- or RVP-, and a 64-character SHA-256 fingerprint. Enter either on the verify page. We do not show the statement’s contents there, only whether we issued it, when, and the fingerprint we keep.
Compare that fingerprint with the one printed on your copy, character by character. If they match, the document is the one we issued and has not been altered. If the page says the reference is not one of ours, or the fingerprints differ, do not rely on the copy.
02 The figures
What the two columns mean
Quoted value is a balance multiplied by a reported price. It is the figure a portfolio tracker or an exchange shows, and it assumes every token could be sold at the price of the last small trade.
Would have returned is what a sale of the whole amount, in one sale, at the minute printed on the statement, would have brought in, according to live quotes from the markets named on the document. Nothing was sold. It is a quote for a real size, not a transaction.
A Realizable Value Statement (references beginning RVS-) reads a public address and lists everything found there, with the block height on each chain so the balances can be checked independently. A Position Statement (RVP-) is of an amount of one token that the person ordering it typed in. It reads no balance and says so beside the amount.
On a Position Statement, on-chain sales and exchange order books are in separate sections. They are different markets with different conditions of access, and the figures are not meant to be added or averaged.
03 The limits
What it cannot tell you
Who owns anything. An address statement describes an address; anyone can order one for any public address. A Position Statement describes an amount somebody stated. If ownership or control matters to you, ask for evidence of it separately: for an address, a signed message or a small transfer you specify; for an exchange balance, the exchange’s own statement.
A figure for tax, lending or law. The document is a measurement and says on its face that it is not a valuation, an appraisal or an audit. Whether a realizable figure is the right basis for your purpose, in your jurisdiction, is your professional judgement and not something we can settle.
Any other date. The figures are of the minute printed at the top. Markets for small tokens change quickly; a statement from last month describes last month. We do not produce statements for past dates.
Everything. Each statement lists what it left out: assets without a usable price, anything inside lending or staking contracts, chains and exchanges we do not read.
04 Questions
To ask the person who gave it to you
Was the statement taken on the date that matters, or near it? If you need a year-end or a completion-date figure, one can be ordered ahead and taken at 23:59 UTC on that day.
If it is a Position Statement, where is the amount kept, and what shows that? If the answer is a single address, an address statement would show the balance too.
Does the token trade mainly on an exchange the statement names as not read? If so, the on-chain figure may understate what could have been sold there, and the document will say that the token trades mostly where we cannot read.
How long is it kept? A statement stays at its link for three years unless its owner extends or deletes it. The printed copy and its fingerprint stand on their own after that, and the verify page will still recognise them.
05 About us
Who we are, and what we were paid
Cryptominium publishes measurements of what crypto assets can be sold for. A statement costs $12 for an address or $12 for a position, paid by the person who ordered it. Paying buys the record, not the figure: the same measurement is free on our site for anyone to run.
We keep no assets for anyone, connect to no wallets, and take no commission on any trade. The method is published, and you can reproduce a figure of the same kind yourself with the free tools.

Check the copy you were given
Enter the reference or the fingerprint printed at its foot. We show whether we issued it, never what is in it.
- 1A measurementThe same one the free tools show. Paying changes no figure.
- 2Written onceTaken at one moment and never recomputed.
- 3CheckableA reference and a fingerprint on every copy.
What we will never do
Not policies we could change on a slow month. The site is built so it cannot.
Route you to a trade
No swap buttons, no exchange links on a measurement, no signals.
Hold your funds
No custody, no wallet connection, no signatures. Nothing here can move money.
Sell a ranking
Paid placement buys position on a page, never a better write-up or a number.
Watch you
No ad trackers, no profiles. What you look up is used to answer and dropped.
