Coinhub
Runs Bitcoin ATMs (more than 2,000 locations, by its own count) where cash buys crypto. Operated by LSGT Services, LLC. In October 2025 California's financial regulator, in a consent order, fined it $675,000, up to $105,000 of it as refunds, after finding fees above the state's cap, over-limit cash transactions and missing disclosures.

What Coinhub is
Coinhub operates a network of more than 2,000 Bitcoin ATMs across 24 U.S. states, located in gas stations, convenience stores, and retail shops. Customers insert cash at a kiosk, scan a wallet QR code, and receive Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, or USDC directly to their personal wallet. Purchases up to $2,000 require only a phone number; buying up to $50,000 per day requires government ID verification, which can also be completed in advance through online registration.
Coinhub is registered with FinCEN as a money services business. The company states it does not hold customer funds, sending purchased cryptocurrency directly to the user's own wallet. Alongside its ATM network, Coinhub offers a non-custodial mobile wallet app, an online exchange for buying and selling cryptocurrencies, and a prop trading product described as launching in November 2026.
